Origin & Story

This Tazrirt Collection rug belongs to the collection's relief designs, where the pattern is formed by pile and flat weave at two heights. Here the lines are looser and wider than in the tighter geometric versions, closer to a sketch of fields seen from above. We do not attribute it to a specific tribe or region.

Design & Visual Identity

The surface is divided into irregular panels. In some, gray bands lie side by side like floorboards; in others they fan out at an angle or stack horizontally. Cream lines separate every band and thicken where two panels meet.

The gray has a warm, stone-like tone that shifts toward beige in strong light. A folded corner shows the reverse as a flat weave in the same two colors. The short ends carry long cream tassels, and the close-up photographs show a dense, looped pile.

Craftsmanship & Materials

Handwoven from 100% wool, the rug pairs a dense raised pile with flat-woven lines. The contrast in height gives the pattern its depth and a cushioned feel underfoot. Each piece is made to order, so the arrangement of panels and the exact tone of gray will vary slightly.

Styling Your Space

A low-contrast palette makes this rug easy to place. Use it with cream or gray sofas, pale wood and linen, or let it calm a room with stronger colors. It suits living rooms and bedrooms where texture matters more than pattern.

Vacuum gently with suction only and keep the machine away from the fringe. Blot spills at once with a clean, dry cloth and do not rub.
