US Shipping, Duties & Delivery
Ordering a TAZRIRT rug from the United States? Shipping is free by DHL or FedEx express, import duties and taxes are included, and delivery takes 3 to 5 business days once your rug leaves our workshop. Here is everything about cost, timing, tracking and returns.
Cost
How much does shipping to the US cost?
Nothing. Shipping is free on every order, whatever the size of the rug. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
Will I pay customs duties or import taxes on delivery?
No. Import duties and taxes are included in the price, so there is nothing to pay when your rug arrives. If a carrier or a customs office ever asks you for a payment on a TAZRIRT order, contact us before paying and we will take care of it.
Timing
How long until my rug arrives?
Two steps, one after the other. First the rug is prepared: a Ready to Ship rug leaves our workshop within 1 business day; a Made to Order rug is woven for you first, in 2 to 10 weeks depending on its size. Then it travels: 3 to 5 business days to the United States. Each rug page adds both steps for the exact size you enter, before you order.
How long does weaving take for my size?
It depends on the area of the rug. For example, a 5 x 8 ft rug takes about 3 weeks, an 8 x 10 ft rug about 5 weeks and a 10 x 14 ft rug about 8 weeks. The full table is below and in our Shipping Policy.

A Custom Made rug, designed with you, has its own timeline: we confirm the estimated completion date during the design consultation, before weaving starts.
Can I have my rug by a specific date?
Tell us the date before you order and we will tell you honestly whether it is possible. Business days are Monday to Friday, and customs checks, public holidays or a remote address can add a little time to the transit.
Delivery and tracking
Which carrier delivers my rug?
Your rug travels from Morocco to your door by express courier, DHL or FedEx. Shipments are insured.
How do I follow my order?
While a Made to Order or Custom Made rug is on the loom, we share photos of the work in progress. You receive a tracking number as soon as your rug ships, so you can follow it on the carrier’s website.
What do I need to do for the delivery?
Give us a phone number and an address where someone can receive the parcel: the carrier may contact you to arrange the delivery. If you need to change the address, tell us as soon as possible and before your order ships.
What if my rug arrives damaged?
Every rug is inspected before it leaves our workshop, then rolled and wrapped for the journey. If it arrives damaged, contact us straight away with your order number, keep the packaging and send us photos of the parcel and of the rug. We will arrange a repair, a replacement or a refund.
Returns from the US
Can I return a rug?
Yes, for Ready to Ship and Made to Order rugs: within 30 days of delivery, if the rug is unused and in its original condition. Custom Made rugs cannot be returned, exchanged or cancelled once production has begun, except for a manufacturing defect or shipping damage.
Who pays for return shipping?
Return shipping is paid by the customer, with a tracked service. Contact us first so we can send you the return address. Once we have received and checked the rug, we refund your original payment method. The full rules are in our Return & Refund Policy.
