Shipping Policy

Every TAZRIRT rug ships free, anywhere in the world, with import duties and taxes included. This page explains how long your rug takes to be made, how long it travels, and how you can follow it.

Two steps: making, then shipping
The time between your order and your delivery has two parts. They are counted one after the other, never together.
- Preparation. A Ready to Ship rug only needs to be checked and packed. A Made to Order or Custom Made rug has to be woven by hand first.
- Shipping. Once your rug is finished and packed, it travels from Morocco to your door by express courier. The delivery times below start on the day it leaves us.
On each rug page, the delivery estimate adds both steps for the exact size you choose, before you order.

Ready to Ship
These rugs are already woven and are sold in the size shown on their page. They are dispatched within 1 business day of your order.
Made to Order
You choose one of our designs and the size you need, and our artisans weave it for you. Weaving time depends on the surface of the rug:

Custom Made
A Custom Made rug is designed with you: your design, colours, symbols, size or shape. Its timeline depends on the size, the complexity of the design and the weaving technique. We confirm the estimated completion date with you during the design consultation, before weaving starts. See Custom Orders.

Business days are Monday to Friday. These are the carrier’s usual transit times: customs checks, public holidays or a remote address can add a little time.
Shipping cost, duties and taxes
Shipping is free on every TAZRIRT order, to every country we deliver to. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
Import duties and taxes are included. You should not be asked to pay anything when your rug is delivered. If a carrier or a customs office ever asks you for a payment on a TAZRIRT order, please contact us before paying and we will take care of it.
Where we ship
We ship worldwide from Morocco, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Europe. If you are not sure we can deliver to your address, ask us before ordering.
Tracking your order
- You receive a tracking number as soon as your rug ships, so you can follow it on the carrier’s website.
- While a Made to Order or Custom Made rug is on the loom, we share photos of the work in progress.
- The carrier may contact you to arrange the delivery. Please give a phone number and an address where someone can receive the parcel.
Packing and insurance
Every rug is inspected before it leaves our workshop, then rolled and wrapped for the journey. Shipments are insured.
Changing your delivery address
If you need to change your address, tell us as soon as possible and before your order ships. Once a parcel is with the carrier, a change is not always possible.
Delayed, lost or damaged parcels
If your tracking has not moved for several days, or if your rug arrives damaged, contact us straight away with your order number. For damage, please keep the packaging and send us photos of the parcel and of the rug. We will arrange a repair, a replacement or a refund.
Returns
Changed your mind? Ready to Ship and Made to Order rugs can be returned within 30 days of delivery. The full conditions, including Custom Made rugs, are in our Return & Refund Policy.
