About Boujaad rugs
Boujaad rugs come from the region of Boujad, between the Middle Atlas foothills and the plains. Where a Beni Ourain is restrained, a Boujaad is expressive: saturated color and geometry that shifts and repeats. The pile is usually lower than a Beni Ourain's, which makes many Boujaad rugs a little easier to live with in busier rooms.
