Origin & Story

This Tazrirt Collection rug belongs to the collection's relief designs, with the lines woven flat and the ground left in pile. Its concentric layout gives a sense of perspective, like a corridor seen from its entrance. We do not attribute it to a specific tribe or region.

Design & Visual Identity

Starting near the top, a terracotta band outlines three sides of a large rectangle. Inside it sits a smaller one, then another, down to a narrow slot at the center. The bands are evenly spaced and slightly irregular in width.

At the open end, the lines leave the rectangle and run diagonally toward the corners. Along one long side, a wide terracotta shape curves down the edge. The terracotta has a mottled tone with lighter flecks, and a band of the same color runs along each short end above the fringe.

Craftsmanship & Materials

Handwoven from 100% wool, the rug sets a plush ivory pile against flat-woven terracotta lines. The lower lines read as grooves between soft raised bands. Each piece is made to order, and the number of nested rectangles is adapted to the size.

Styling Your Space

Ivory and terracotta suit warm, natural interiors: clay tones, linen, leather and wood. The concentric pattern works well under a bed or a coffee table, where it frames the furniture. It also pairs with a deep blue sofa for contrast.

Care & Everyday Use

Vacuum gently with suction only and keep the machine away from the fringe. Blot spills at once with a clean, dry cloth and do not rub. Rotate the rug every few months so wear and light exposure stay even, and use a rug pad underneath. For deeper cleaning, choose a specialist who works with handmade wool rugs.
