This Tazrirt Collection rug combines Moroccan-inspired wool craftsmanship with a contemporary approach to surface and pattern. Instead of relying on color alone, the design uses contrasting textures to define its geometry. Its character comes from the interplay of raised green areas and lower woven lines, with no specific tribal attribution required to describe its appeal.

Design & Visual Identity

An earthy green field is crossed by pale beige pathways that bend through right angles, open rectangles and irregular turns. Some lines extend across larger areas, while others stop, double back or create small enclosed shapes. The layout is intentionally varied, giving the rug a loose, maze-like rhythm rather than a repeating grid.

The green areas stand above the lighter woven channels, making the pattern visible through both color and relief. The close-up view shows the softer raised surface beside the flatter beige weave. Pale fringe and contrasting woven end details finish the rectangular outline, adding another textural element without competing with the main design.

Craftsmanship & Materials

Handwoven from 100% wool, this rug combines a plush pile with lower woven sections. The variation in surface height gives the design its sculptural character, while the raised areas bring softness and warmth underfoot.
