Origin & Story

This Tazrirt Collection rug draws on the visual language of Beni Ourain-inspired design, combining a light wool field with freely drawn geometry. Its interest comes from the balance between repeating diamonds and a more organic central form. The motifs are described visually without assigning a specific symbolic meaning or an unverified place of production.

Design & Visual Identity

An elongated taupe form runs through the middle of the rug, narrowing and widening along an irregular, dark-edged silhouette. Two chains of outlined diamonds sit to either side. Near the top, each chain expands into a larger filled taupe diamond, while small dark dots are scattered across the surrounding ivory field.

The layout has a clear vertical rhythm, but its uneven lines and differently shaped motifs keep it relaxed. Dark stitched-looking bands define the short ends, finished with pale fringe. The warm ivory background provides generous open space, allowing the taupe and near-black details to stand out without making the composition feel heavy.

Craftsmanship & Materials

Handwoven from 100% wool, this rug offers a soft, medium-pile surface with a visibly textured finish. The wool adds warmth underfoot and gives subtle depth to the neutral palette. Slight variations in outlines, tone and pile are part of the handmade process, so a custom-woven piece will have its own individual finish.

Place it beneath a living-room seating arrangement or alongside a bed, leaving part of the central motif visible. Ivory upholstery, oak furniture and warm brown accessories complement its palette.
