This contemporary Tazrirt Collection rug combines Moroccan-inspired wool texture with a composition of bold, simple shapes. Its restrained palette recalls Beni Ourain-inspired interiors, while the placement of the blocks gives it a modern graphic identity. The design's appeal lies in the interaction of color, proportion and tactile surface.

Design & Visual Identity

A muted taupe field surrounds a large olive-green rectangle placed through the center and lower portion of the rug. A narrow cream band descends from the top into the green area, ending with four short dark crossbars. Across the lower section, charcoal blocks extend inward from the sides, with a small group of cream vertical stripes on the right.

These alternating horizontal and vertical elements create an architectural rhythm. The design feels balanced while retaining an asymmetric detail that rewards a closer look. Fine dark bands and pale fringe finish the short ends. Soft transitions in the pile give the taupe and green areas movement and prevent the large shapes from feeling flat.
