The tent
A real desert tent, woven to your size
For centuries, the nomads of the Moroccan Sahara have lived under tents woven from goat hair. We make ours the same way: the cloth is woven by hand, dense and dark, strong, sheds rain and lasts for years.
Yours is woven to the floor size you choose, from 3.5 × 3 m up to 20 × 12 m. The side walls stand 1.5 m high and the roof rises to a peak in the middle.
A room outdoors
Set it in a garden, on a terrace or by the pool, for family evenings, celebrations and guests. Furnished with a Sahrawi majlis, it becomes a living room under the sky, the way it is done in the south of Morocco.

Before you order
What sizes can I order?
Any floor size from 3.5 × 3 m up to 20 × 12 m, to the centimetre. Enter your length and depth in the builder and the price updates straight away. For a larger tent, contact us and we reply with a quote.
How tall is the tent?
The side walls stand 1.5 m high and the roof rises to a peak in the middle.
What is the difference between the two weaves?
100% goat hair is the traditional black cloth: dense, strong and the most weather-resistant. Goat hair and wool (50/50) is softer to the touch and lighter, and costs less.
Can I order the tent without the majlis?
Yes. Choose "Tent only" in the builder. You can also add the majlis now and save 10% on it.
What does the majlis include?
Floor seats, back cushions and armrests arranged in a U along three sides, with the number of pieces worked out from your tent size and shown in the builder. Choose the full or the essential majlis, one of 13 fabrics, and add a rug and a centre pouf if you like.
Is shipping included?
Yes. Shipping is free worldwide, and import taxes and duties are included in the price, so there is nothing more to pay when it arrives.
When will my tent arrive?
Each tent is woven by hand for you. After your order we email you the production and delivery dates.
