Named after Imlili, the salt flats of the Dakhla region, this majlis combines a deep ruby red with black and ivory medallions and borders. Classic and rich, it gives a room the feel of a grand Sahrawi tent.
How it feels in your home
Ruby Red is warm like a fire on a cold night. It wraps a room in color and makes everyone inside feel close. This is a majlis for people who love to host: friends drop in, the tea comes out, and nobody wants to leave. A room like this is rare, and the feeling it brings to a house is something you notice every single day. Pair it with a cream rug, gold trays and warm amber lighting, and your salon becomes the heart of your home.
An honest word about the fabric
We don’t weave this fabric ourselves, and we won’t pretend to. It reaches us already woven: a rare Sahrawi textile, 3 mm thick and 750 g per m², far heavier than the light copies sold in most markets. We buy it in limited rolls, then cut and sew every piece to the measurements of your walls in our workshop. Once a roll is gone, the same pattern can take a long time to come back.
Why it lasts
- Heavy original fabric: 3 mm thick, 750 g/m², holds its colour and its shape for years
- Dolidol 5-stamp foam, guaranteed 25 years. Choose soft (daily sitting and the odd night) or firm (a salon for sitting), at the same price
- Made to measure: seats, back cushions and armrests are planned around your walls, with no gaps and no cut-off pieces
- Removable, washable covers
- Healthy floor seating: 70 cm deep and 15 cm high, keeps the back straight and the body relaxed
What you can order
- The majlis alone, with a matching rug, or with a rug and a pouf
- One wall, L-shape, U-shape or the full room, every wall seated from end to end
- Extra pieces in the same fabric: cushions 40 × 40 cm, poufs 60 × 60 × 20 or 30 cm
Dimensions
- Seat height: 15 cm (about 6 in)
- Seat depth: 70 cm (about 27.5 in)
- Seat length: 110 to 190 cm per piece, cut to your walls
