Named after Essaouira and the Atlantic tide that rolls into its harbour, this piece lays a round black and ivory woven spiral over horizontal stripes of teal, pink, grey and navy. The spiral is coiled by hand, ring after ring, like a shell on the beach.
Made by hand, one of a kind
Every piece in this collection starts in our workshop with handwoven kilim: old and new weaves in colours and patterns that will never come together the same way twice. We cut them, arrange them and stitch them by hand into one composition, then finish the edge with a cotton border so it hangs flat and clean. The piece in the photos is the exact piece you receive.
