A traditional piece, engraved by hand
This tray table is made with care in the Moroccan tradition. The round brass tray is engraved by hand: an interlaced geometric star pattern fills the centre, small floral motifs sit between the lines, and a floral border runs around the raised rim. The fine detail shows the skill of the craftsman and the beauty of the heritage behind it.
The tray rests on a carved wooden stand. Lift the tray off and the stand folds flat, so the table is easy to move and to store.
What makes it a good choice
- Hand engraved: detailed geometric and floral patterns across the whole tray.
- Two pieces: a brass tray that lifts off and a carved wooden stand that folds flat.
- For every day or for display: a low table for tea and coffee, or a decorative piece that brings warmth and elegance to a room.
- A good size for a seating area: 70 cm across and 35 cm high (27.6 × 13.8 in).
Where to use it
- In the living room: as a low coffee table or a side table beside floor seating and poufs.
- For serving: carry the tray on its own to serve tea, then set it back on the stand.
- As décor: a traditional accent for an entrance, a lounge, a riad or a hotel.
The lantern shown in the photos is for decoration and is not included.
