Origin & Story
This rug belongs to the Zanafi weaving tradition, most commonly associated with southern Moroccan weaving regions in the Anti-Atlas and Siroua areas. Zanafi rugs are traditionally produced as flatwoven textiles, valued for their durability, graphic language, and architectural presence. The weaving reflects a functional heritage rooted in nomadic lifestyles, where precision and rhythm are essential.
